R-Type Stellar

Type Stellar is a retro-style rogue-like shoot 'em up in space with RPG elements game featuring good music. Some gameplay features include:

• Infinite number of levels
• Randomized scenery
• Randomized enemy behavior
• Random boss battles
• BULLETS!  LASERS!
• Power System prevents spamming the fire key
• Randomized enemies
• Purchasable Modules such as Missiles and Drone Bays
• New ships you can purchase, some with more customization

Equipment System

During levels when you destroy enemies you will earn interstellar credits based on how hard the enemy was, and you can use these when you dock at stations between fighting to buy upgrades and modules for your ship such as better engines (maneuver faster left and right), shield upgrades, armor upgrades, better hardpoint weapons, or even an entirely different type of laser such as a beam laser, ( you start with a pulse laser) beam lasers do less damage and fire a continuous beam, but use less power. Or even a particle cannon, which uses even more power but does burst damage so it can potentially hit multiple enemies.  Auxiliary hardpoints allow you to equipm modules such as missile launchers or shield injection systems to give you a boost to your shields among other things! If your ship supports it, you can even buy a drone bay and drones, which are extra tiny little ai controlled ships that fight with you!
